Former nurse helps uncle who fainted at Junction 8, remains with him until ambulance arrives
A former nurse has been lauded for aiding a guy who fainted and harmed his head at Junction 8 shopping mall last Thursday nights (Aug 22).
The incident occurred on the floor floor of the Bishan shopping center at around 8pm.
Mr Li, 30, told Shin Min Daily Information that he was passing by the region after work when he saw an enormous public at the picture.
He said: "I went forward to take a peek and realised an uncle was lying on the floor. His mind was bleeding and there is also bloodstream on his hands.
"Three customers of the general public were joining to him."
According to an employee at a close by shop, the person got fainted and hit his head when he collapsed.
Shin Min spoke to 1 of the nice Samaritans who helped the man and learnt that she had previously worked in the A&E team of Tan Tock Seng Clinic (TTSH).
"There were two wounds on the man's mind and he was bleeding non-stop."
The 30-year-old said she first advised everyone never to touch the man. She then ensured that he could still move his brain and lower limbs, before taking his pulse and examining his breathing.
Ms Kok added: "He was having difficulty breathing and was unresponsive for three to five minutes.
"He later regained little consciousness and appreciated only his name. Then long his right side and handled his brain."
Ms Kok asked the man if he had diabetes to determine the cause of his street to redemption, but he said no.
Another person in the general public used the man's phone to consider his wife's contact and prepared her about the incident.
Someone also known as the Singapore Civil Defence Power (SCDF) and passed the telephone to Ms Kok, who informed them of the man's condition.
Ms Kok remained at the arena until the ambulance arrived.
The SCDF confirmed which it received a demand medical assistance at about 8pm and conveyed the man to TTSH for treatment.
